Descanso Gardens Wedding, Sara and Peter, Los Angeles Wedding Planner

What a lovely day it was for Sara and Peter's wedding at Descanso Gardens!

We designed this wedding to be elegant and romantic with shades of purple abound. We created the lovely and unique flowers for the table centerpieces, which were a blend of shabby-chic meets wildflower. They were set against chocolate and lavender colored damask runners on wood banqet tables, in an interesting mix of wooden boxes, crystal cups and metal tins with votives scattered about.

Our favorite part about Sara and Peter's wedding was the wonderful African music played during the reception. The guests had a wonderful time dancing and celebrating with the happy couple, and so did we!

Fabulous Los Angeles wedding venues by Los Angeles Wedding Planner

Los Angeles is a big, beautiful city! And there are lots of wedding venues to choose from. Depending on your budget, style and guest count, there are numerous choices to look at, and some that are not so well known. From lavish gala affairs to sophisticated and chic weddings, here are three unique Los Angeles wedding venue choices:

1. Oviatt Penthouse, Downtown Los Angeles
An art deco inspired venue with spectacular views of the Downtown LA skyline, and delicious food catered by Truly Yours Catering make this a unique and very special choice.

2. Marvimon, Los Angeles
An 80-year old building with exposed vintage bricks and a lush garden ceremony setting, completely run by solar power (LOVE!). This venue has that "lofty" feel with amazing wood trusses and other unique details. Perfect for an eclectic, chic or vintage style wedding with an intimate feel and guest count.

3. The Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena (formerly the Ritz-Carlton)
A grand five star hotel surround by 23 acres of beautiful scenery and set within a quiet, upscale residential neighborhood This choice boasts romantic ballrooms and lush gardens. Opulent without being garish. A perfect option for a lavish affair.

Naturally Elegant at the Four Seasons, Beverly Hills Wedding Coordinator

When we first met Elana, she was in the midst of trying to plan her wedding as well as obtaining her Master's Degree to become a Dietician. She was overwhelmed and needed us to help orchestrate her Black-Tie wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. We stepped in and got to know her and the Groom-to-be, Scott, and what they really wanted their day to be all about...which was good food, good fun, Family and Friends!

Thanks to the entire team...

Tres Chic! Parisian-inspired wedding, Pasadena Wedding Planner

As you will see from the photos, Trey and Kay exude love for each other and these pictures don't lie! A true Southern gentleman, Trey really treats Kay like a Queen and wanted her to have nothing but the best for their big day! We came up with a subtle Parisian theme for their wedding, inspired by their honeymoon to Paris.

Using lots of feathers, gold, and Parisian accents, their dream day came to life! We even found a large eiffel tower to use as their "wish tree" and it was an amazing feast for the eyes! Guests had their caricatures drawn by a cartoonist and took them home for favors. A beautiful day it was!

Tea with Tic Tock! Los Angeles Wedding and Event Planner

I had the pleasure (and very exclusive invitation!) to attend the 2nd Annual "Tea Party" event, hosted by Tic Tock Couture Florals and The Langham Huntington Hotel, Pasadena. Eddie Zaratsian of Tic Tock Couture Florals throws this event every year for over 70 luxury wedding planners in the Southern California area. It is a day for us to relax and enjoy, since we never are really a guest at events! And what a day it was! The Langham Huntington Hotel is a gorgeous location and setting for such an event. Their tea sandwiches and pastry desserts were unbelieveable; they tasted just as scrumptious as they looked! Eddie and his event partners (Revelry Event Design, Wildflower Linens, Raye C Marketing, Cean One Photography, Creative Works Designs, Images by LIghting) spoiled us silly with a feast for the senses. NO details were overlooked, and at the end of this magnificent day, we all went home with swag bags of goodies!

70th Birthday Celebration at Noor Restaurant, Los Angeles Event Planner

The guest of honor, Peter, had no idea his Wife and children were planning a special celebration in honor of his 70th Birthday! Apparently, no one has ever been able to surprise him with anything, so this was a top secret mission! Enlisting a professional event planner (yours truly!) became necessary to pull this celebration off without ruining the surprise, and I'm happy to say we were successful! Noor Restaurant in Pasadena was selected as the venue, and their Ella Ballroom was the perfect fit for this "distinguished gentleman" theme. With an open bar all evening long, and talented entertainers such as singer Max Fontaine and DJ Party Pros, every guest was on the dance floor having a fantastic time!
